Welcome to our testimonials section. We take great pride in the work that we do with girls of all ages. We wanted to share some of the positive feedback that we have received from companies and girls that have been a part of the Pearl Girlz process. We are proud to help every girl celebrate the value of her own unique pearl.
"Are you conducting yourself as a unique pearl?" This was a common line girls in my program were using weeks after the Pearl Girlz workshop delivered by Ms. Joyce Davis. For the past three years my colleague, Dr. Pamela D. Hall, and I have run a literacy and social skills empowerment program for Haitian youth. It has been our goal to create a space to develop strong and confident young people. One of the lessons we have learned is that it is imperative for young people to learn how to master the skill of negotiating conflicting messages. Pearl Girlz provided a clear, relevant, and engaging workshop to our female students. Ms. Davis was able to guide the girls to reflect on their own stereotypes of femininity and, more powerfully, to work together with them to create a language in which they embrace and celebrate themselves as young women. I profoundly recommend Pearl Girlz for any school or program whose aim is to prepare strong, confident, and self-sufficient women.

Thank you so much for providing the “Loving the Skin You’re In” workshop during the Annual It Takes a Village Conference. Thanks to you over 400 girls received bullying prevention and pro-social training workshops. The workshops helped our girls develop positive self-esteem, improved their relationships with their parents and other adults and also helped them make better life choices.
We would like to commend you for your commitment and dedication to the empowerment of young girls everywhere. We hope that we can always count you as a member of the Girl Power family.
As the current Admissions and Family Coordinator and former Career Coordinator, I have had the pleasure of coming into contact with different professionals from various backgrounds. However, my experience with Ms. Joyce Davis has been one that is truly rewarding and unforgettable.
Our professional relationship that has spanned about two years was further cultivated once I discovered her organization, Pearl Girlz. Through my position at Mavericks High, I have been afforded the opportunity to mentor misguided young ladies. Ms. Davis clearly has a definite love for nurturing the beauty inside of young ladies. She has become a staple here on our campus, creating a strong desire from our young ladies to grow and mature into strong, empowered women.
I have absolutely no reservations that Pearl Girlz will continue to progress as a frontrunner in the community as an organization dedicated to promoting positive self-images and self-esteem in young ladies.
